I wonder if there was some factory defect or something? Or maybe they're just being used to carry bricks or concrete. You'd think they would do a recall for that sort of stuff.

Eh, quite a few of those are no worse than aftermarket lowering springs and sport shocks.

Didn't you hear that this is a common problem with longroofs? The suspension will lower over time. That's why manufacturers started delivering wagons with comical amounts of ground clearance: brand new —> after several years ...

I try to be accepting of other people's style choices. Stance your wagon if it makes you happy. But then I saw the Allroad. Why would you buy the light duty offroad version of a wagon that already exists in street version? And then slam it? I don't understand!
I assume the ones that are laying on the ground have air suspensions that can raise them back up to reasonable heights. And for all my attempts at tolerance, having your chassis touch the ground just looks stupid to me. You turned your car into a paperweight. But I grow older everyday and will soon be waxing nostalgically about 15 inch wheels being plenty big enough for any car. Que up the Boss.

Didn't look but is it in the U.S.? We only get the Allroad, not the A4 wagon.

Probably because they don't make the A4 Wagon anymore, and haven't for a while. So if you want new in that category, it's your only option from Audi.

Maybe the Earth's gravitational pull is greater wherever they are on the planet.

I feel the same way. I just saw a Tahoe Z71 that was lowered with 22" wheels. Why would you make the off-road version useless off road?! Get a LTZ or any 2WD model!
